ISRP Day Two, 1/27/14

Today in class we learned about Socrates ( this is the slide show ). There was an exit slip, so hopefully you were there because they can't be made up; remember, since we do so much discussion and reflection, it is important to be in class. For homework, you are to read this short biography of Socrates  and  watch this short video biography . Then you are to do the following: ISRP Homework #2 - Make a Comic Strip Make a comic strip with at least 5 panels. The drawings can be simple; I won't grade based on artistic ability. The comic should demonstrate or explain one of three things: Socrates' life The Socratic Method "The unexamined life is not worth living" - the idea that knowledge and morality are linked.  It is due on Monday, February 3, 2014. PS - a lot more information can be found on Socrates (and all other philosophers) at the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy .
